Let me show you a card that I made for my sister in-law for her birthday. She absolutely loves purple it is her favourite colour of all time, so of course I had to use every colour of Purple that we have.
I used the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate and the Hydrangea Haven bundle for the front of the card with a cut out from the Encircled In Beauty dies and the dragon flies are punched out using the Ombre Specialty Paper. I coloured some of the Be Dazzeling product that was free with a spend of $90.00 during our sale -a-bration over the last two months to create the petals on the flowers and leaf backgrounds. It makes me sad that Sale-A-Bration has finished for the year.
When you open the first layer of the card up I have used the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper, the Sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink. I love this set as it has a large sentiment in it and it takes up a lot of the front of the card which means you don’t need to have much else on the card. I have added some Leaves from the Gorgeous Leaves dies to add interest on the edge. You can also see these leaves from the front too.
With more of the beautiful Hand Penned Designer Series Paper on the inside layer and using the stamp set Beautiful Moments to stamp the image of the lady walking through the field. The sentiments are from the Create with Friends stamp set and the Hydrangea Haven stamp set.
The leaves on the envelope are form a stamp set Gorgeous Leaves and are stamped in Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.
