Simply Succulent ….

Playing in my garden is one of my other hobbies I like to do. So when I saw this stamp set in the January to June mini catalogue I knew it had to be part of my collection. I love it so much I simply can not stop using it.

In this card pictured below I created the background, with the new Blending Brushes and randomly using circular motions I applied some Mint Macaron and Rich Razzelberry ink for the background. Then using the largest die from the Potted Succulents Dies from the January to June mini catalogue I ran my Designer series Paper through the Stampin Cut and Emboss machine. I then stamped the three flowers and coloured them in using my stamping blends. Attaching these over the left hand side of the sentiment which is stamped on some left over Oh So Ombre designer series paper from Sale-A-Bration in Blackberry Bliss ink. With the Natural Touch Specialty paper and some Mint Macaron card stock I die cut the String of Pearls die and attached these under my flowers using some Stampin Dimensionals. The silver bits of ribbon are from the metallic Mesh Ribbon that carried over from the Holiday mini catalogue. To see more on these products head on over to my online store here. As an added bonus I made another card but a more masculine card. Using the mask from the largest die, some Embossing Paste and a palette knife I smeared the embossing paste over the mask and it became a raised image that I then coloured in using my Stamping Blends. Tearing it in half and attaching it to my card base which I had previously stamped the largest stamp from the Simply Succulents stamp set in Cinnamon Cider ink and the stamp with the words on it is from the stamp set Very Versailles stamp set stamping in Garden Green ink. The plants and the pot are cut from the dies from the Potted Succulents Dies and arranged using Stampin Dimensionals.

The Potted Succulent dies and the Simply Succulent stamp set is currently sold as a bundle, which is 10% cheaper than if you were to buy then individually.
