Breakfast with Bec…. Boho Indigo in the Caravan.

This week on Breakfast with Bec I was away on a mini long weekend break exploring areas of Victoria like Glenrowan, the region of the famous Australian bushranger Ned Kellys last stand and Beechworth with the amazing bakery called Beechworth Bakery that make the yummiest pies and pastries. While we were in Beechworth we also checked out Billsons Brewery and the Beechworth Goal, where Ned Kelly stayed on numerous occasions for receiving a stolen horse and other various crimes. Check out a few happy snaps from our weekend away.

But even though I was out exploring the country side I didn’t miss the opportunity to do a little bit of live crafting with you on Saturday morning live from our caravan in Nagambie, a small country town in central Victoria. This week as I was in the van we have to travel light, so taking the BoHo Indigo product medley was the perfect product to take with me. You can create beautiful cards with very little product as it all comes in the medley.

Boho Indigo Product Medley.

The Boho Indigo product medley comes with a stamp set, matching dies, designer series paper, paper flower embellishments, die cuts and beautiful dry embossed paper. Check it out…

This week I created a quick card to show case the Designer Series paper that comes in the medley. The paper has gorgeous colours of Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Basic White. I started by adhering a piece of the designer series paper as a card front, cut at 10cm x 14.3cm to a Night Of Navy Card Base which measures 14.8cm x 21cm scored at 10.5 on the long side and folded in half to create a card base. I then cut 3 strips of designer series paper one at 2cm x 9.5cm, one at 2cm x 9cm and one at 2cm x 8.5cm. I attached these on the card front using Stampin Seal. This shows off 4 of the 12 different designs of Designer series paper that you get in the medley. `

I stamped the large vase in Crumb Cake ink from the BoHo Indigo stamp set onto a piece of Basic white card stock cut at 9cm x 5.4cm, followed by stamping the leaves in Garden Green on the top of the vase and adding the white paper leaves embellishments with some glue dots. Layering this on a piece of Night of Navy card stock cut at 10cm x 6.4cm using Stampin Seal and then attaching it to the card front with Stampin Dimensionals almost completes my card.

To finish the card off I stamped the thank you sentiment onto one of the die cuts in Night of Navy ink and attched this using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the very vanilla and gold pleated ribbon that comes in the medley I made a bow. This was then attached to the card front using a glue dot.
