What a wonderful season!

Every time I see a Poinsettia it reminds me of Christmas, and with Christmas fast approaching now is the time to get started on all your Christmas projects.

Today I created this beautiful Poinsettia Christmas card using Stampin’ Up!s Poinsettia Petals Bundle which is a stamp and die set, and because it’s a bundle you automatically save 10% when purchased together.

I used this to create the beautiful Poinsettia flower on the front of the card. I stamped the image in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Cherry Cobbler card stock and die cut it out using the matching dies. To give it the shimmering effect I used the Wink Of Stella brush over each petal, then applying Stampin Dimensionals to the back of each flower petal, which gives it the 3D appearance. Tucked behind the flower is some leaves from the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper coloured with Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends and the foliage is cut from Gold foil sheets using the Poinsettia Dies from the bundle.

I paired it up with some Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper in classic black and white check. This paper is currently on special for 15% off until the 31st of October, get in quick only a few days left. The checks on this paper highlight the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder I used in the background as a card front. I have also applied Wink Of Stella to the background, brushed all over to give it a shimmering effect.

For the sentiment I stamped on Basic Black card stock in Versamark ink and covered it with White Stampin Emboss Powder . Surrounding it with a Gold Hoop embellishment gives it a bit of glamour.

To finish off I stamped the smallest Poinsettia on the inside of the card and on the envelope to match.

I hope you like my card and if you want to check out any of the items I have used you can see them below or check them out at my online store just tap the shop now button below.
