Plaid, plaid and more plaid. I’m sorry did you ask for plaid… well then I have the papers for you. Plaid Tidings designer series paper is full of colour, not just for Christmas projects but all year round. This pack is 6” x 6” and has 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double sided designs with regal colours of, Cherry Cobbler, Melon Mambo, BlackBerry Bliss, Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock, Bumblebee, and Pumpkin Pie.

Today I made a two cards with this paper to show you. The first one is a cute little gnome card that could be used for male friend.

To match the little gnomes hat to the paper I used for the card front, I stamped the gnome from the stamp set Gnome For The Holidays on Whisper White card stock and die cut the oval shape out from Layering Oval Dies. I then stamped just his hat on the matching Plaid Tidings designer series paper that I used on the card front and fussy cut this out and adhered it to the gnome on the white oval. I did the same technique for his little bell he is carrying. It’s such a cute card.

The second card I made using Plaid Tidings designer series paper and the Autumn Goodness Bundle. The stamp set has a little wheelbarrow, flowers, dry haystack and a patch of fruit.

I used the Plaid Tidings designer series paper as a card front, then using Whisper White card stock I die cut one of the Celebration Label dies and then ran it through the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder as a back ground to the little wheelbarrow and sentiment.

I stamped the wheelbarrow on Crumb Cake card stock in Early Espresso ink. The flowers and hay stack are stamped in Soft Suede ink and I coloured them in using Watercolour Pencils and Blender Pens.

The sentiment was made using the Banners Pick A Punch. This punch can punch two different banners in three different sizes. That gives you six different options in the banners you can make in any lengths you like.
