In Good Taste

Today I’m working with the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. This Paper has rich textures of wood, brick work, and fabric all rolled into one huge pack of Designer series paper. This pack boast 24 sheets, 2 each of 12 double-sided designs. It would suit any occasion with simple adjustments to the colour scheme to make the project feminine or masculine.

I choose to adjust the colour to make a masculine card. I started with a Smoky Slate card stock base. Then I cut some In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for the card front.

I shaded the corner of the card front with Smokey Slate Ink and a Sponge Dauber to create a shadow from underneath the next layer of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

To create this next layer I cut a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and then I tore the edge and shaded this in Night of Navy ink using a Sponge Dauber and adhered it to the card front over the shaded Smokey Slate area.

I then wrapped some Linen Thread around the two layers at the bottom of the card front base and attached this to the card base. Using the Tasteful Labels Dies I cut the Night Of Navy card stock label and ran it through the Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder. I then cut some more In Good Taste Designer Series Paper with the Tasteful Labels Dies and stamped the Hello stamp from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Night of Navy ink and adhered that to the card front.

With all the different patterns it just goes to show you that the possibilities are endless and the bonus is that it is currently 15% off from 1st- 31st October.
