Todays sample of Designer series paper is a little different to what I would normally do. I love this paper so much I had to show a lot of the paper off, all at once and to do this I created a decor piece that will sit proudly in my studio.

Peony Garden Designer Series paper is full of beautiful blooms, plush peonies and sophisticated marble designs. In tones of Gray Granite, Basic Grey and Petal Pink, it can be used for many different occasions.

I had this Love word in white timber hanging around in my studio from when we got married four years ago. I had a light bulb moment and thought how good would that look if I used the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper and cover it to dress it up.

After I finished covering the word Love, I stamped the large Peony Rose from the Prized Peony stamp set on Whisper White card stock in Basic Gray ink. Then I coloured it in with the Stampin Blends in Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow, sponging around the edges with the same inks to give it a vintage feel.

I repeated the colouring with my Stampin Blends with the smaller flowers from the Prized Peony stamp set, however this time I also coloured one of the flowers in Crumb cake, and Gray Granite Stampin Blends just for a bit of contrast underneath the two roses.

To jazz it up even more I added some Elegant Faceted Gems to add a bit of sparkle. They come in Clear, Petal Pink, and Pearlescent White. I added some extra Peony Garden designer series paper to the hole of the o in love instead of a photo to bring it all together.
