Postage stamp punch

Stampin Up have released a new punch in the 20-21 annual catalogue. It’s called the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch. I love punches, in fact I have a wall of punches and I very rarely sell any of my punches. Punches are great for creating quick cards, adding detail or depth to your projects. Today I have a quick card to show you using this awesome new punch.

This card is a long slim DL sized card which is 210mm x 99mm or 1/3 of an A4 sheet. I have punched out eight rectangle postage stamps using the Forever Greenery designer series paper and adhered them with to the front of my card base with some Tombow, making sure that the gap at the top and the side is the same to start with and then following this pattern along until the front of the card base is completed.

The sentiment is stamped from the Forever Fern stamp set. I coloured the words I wanted from the sentiment with my Stampin write markers in Garden Green, gave it a bit of a huff to put moisture back into the stamp and then stamped it on the card base.

To finish the card off I added some gold foil foliage embellishments from the Forever gold laser cut specialty paper and some extra die cut pieces I cut from the left overs of the gold laser cut paper with a glue dot. I then tied a knot in some old olive/pretty peacock reversible ribbon and adhered that over the bottom of the gold foliage with another glue dot.

All the products that I have used in this card are available at my online store here. Bec’s House Of Craft Online Store

Happy crafting ✂️

Cheers Bec 😊
