June Team Swap

For last months team swap with my team members I made a simple Hello card using Stampin’ Up!s new stamp set called Tasteful Touches, paired up with the Forever Fern stamp set and matching dies.

Tasteful touches stamp set has versatile textures and images that will help you create all types of projects that are sure to shine. I have coloured the flower, using Stampin’ Up! Blends Markers. These markers are alcohol based markers which allow you to colour in with no more streaky lines. They are double ended with a brush tip on one side and a bullet tip on the other for finer colouring in. You can also colour ribbon, rhinestones, and pearls to make them co ordinate with the rest of our Stampin’ Up! products. The colour I used for the flower is Daffodil Delight.

For the card base I used a piece of card stock 14.8 x 21cm folded in half with the new In-colour 20-21 card stock in Bumblebee. I also used the same colour for the background with the Tasteful Textures 3D embossing folder and ran my snips around the edge to create the torn look. To finish the background off I used some strips of paper from the Flowers From Every Season designer series paper and ran my scissors around the edge of those too.

To finish of I stamped the envelope and inside of the card with stamps from the Forever Fern stamp set. I don’t tend to stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card, as I might like to use the card for any occasion and with a simple hello on the front I can always add a happy birthday or what ever sentiment I might need in the card later.

If you like any of the products I have used for this card you can check them out below or you can see them at my online store here Bec’s House Of Craft Online Store
