So a quick update on the card I made for my friend who joined the army. He has nearly finished his recruitment training and his mum asked me to make him a congratulations card. I didn’t want to make it all army colours thinking he may have seen enough of these over the last twelve weeks.

I chose to use the stamp set called Mountain Air to symbols all the adventures he is now going to have with his new career. The sentiment of Congratulations is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

The top sentiment is from Silhouette Scenes stamp set and I thought it was a perfect fit for where he wants to go.

The card base is Misty Moonlight which is one of the new In Colours for 2020-21, with the Birch background stamped in the background, with our Night Of Navy Classic Stampin’ Pad. The World Of Good Designer series paper with hints of brass, antique designs and textures this gives an old world masculine feel to your cards.
