Sneak Peek

It’s sneak peek time and as the 3rd of June gets closer, that means it’s time for the new annual catalogue to be released to the public. As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I am lucky enough to get the amazing products earlier. This allows me to create cards with all the new goodies to share with you.

This card I have created today has a bit of old from the current catalogue that is carrying over into the new catalogue and it has a bit of new….. I hear what your saying to me….. me show me show me…

I used the stamp set and matching dies from the cute Graces Garden stamp set and the Garden Gateway dies, creating the little garden gate at the front of the card. This stamp set also has the cute little kitten and bird stamp in it.

With an aqua painter I picked up the colour of Crumb Cake to colour in the pickets, Pumpkin Pie for the kitten and night of navy for the little bird. I also used this technique for the rest of the card colouring in the trees, track, and sky. with the Stampin’ write markers in Early Espresso I extended the lines in the track to met with the picket fence.

The new stamp set called Summer Days which is a new hostess stamp set that will be available in the new catalogue when it launches on the 3rd of June. It has the beautiful tress that are in the background, the little boy flying a kite and the cute little cloud stamp that I have stamped in the sky. For the sentiment I used the Share Sunshine download that is available now, what a time to use that sentiment. I certainly didn’t get the inspiration for this card from my kids who have been living on their technology devices during our lock down time… 🙄 if you would like to download and print out the Share Sunshine head to my online store here. Finally I finished the inside of the card and the envelope with the tree image and a cute little puppy all from the Summer Days stamp set. I can not wait till we can be back in class to share this fun stamp set with you all.
