In Colour card Challenge

I was lucky enough to be involved in our team in colour challenge. With this challenge we were given a gold edged card base. Along with this was some card stock, ribbon, designer series paper, all in the in colour of Rocco Rose. With these materials we had to create a card with current Stampin’ Up! products.

I knew straight away what I was going to do within this challenge, I am in love with the Bird Ballad designer series paper that is currently on the last chance list from Stampin’ Up! I’m that in love with it I have fussy cut out all the birds from the paper.

Rocco Rose has a beautiful vintage colour about it and mixing it with a hint of neutral colours like Soft Suede makes this vintage looking card come to life.

The sentiment that I have used is from Stampin’ Up! It is a downloadable digital image pack called Share Sunshine. It is packed with light hearted sentiments and imagery relevant to the current social distancing situation caused by COVID-19.

With the little bird and the bird cage from the Bird Ballad designer series paper the sentiment “There’s no place like home (for now)” was suited to the card. The best thing about this digital download is that all the money from your purchase goes towards the World Health Organisation COVID-Solidarity response fund or the United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community response and recovery fund. If you would like to make a difference head on over to my online store here Bec’s House Of Craft Store and purchase your copy today.

To finish the card off I used the left over pieces to decorate the front of the envelope and inside the card.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did making it. All the products I have used are listed below or you can head over to my online store. Bec’s House Of Craft Store
