Measure Of Love..

It was my Dads birthday a couple of days ago so I created him a card that is perfect for a sweet tooth. My dad loves anything sweet, cakes, fruit and lollies, if its sweet he will love it. Creating a card with the Measure of Love stamp set was a perfect choice. It has cupcakes, and fruit both are things he loves.

I created this card pictured below using the largest die from the Tailor Made Tags die and the Measure Of Love Stamp set from the annual catalogue. I stamped the scales and cupcakes in Pacific Point ink. The needle in the middle of the scales is stamped in Real Red ink, it was so easy to line up the needle in the middle as there is a little dot and the needle lines up with that.

Colouring in the cupcakes was easy too, because this is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colours you want. I used Balmy Blue, Real Red, Crushed Curry and Old Olive.

The sentiment is from the Sweet Strawberry Stamp set and is stamped In Real Red Ink. Dad absolutely loved his card and had plenty of cake for desert.

If you love any of the products I have used to create this card you can check them out my online store click the button below.

Don’t forget I currently have a giveaway happening for my Facebook Live Anniversary, I am giving away a Stamparatus.
