What is Breakfast with Bec I hear you ask?
Breakfast with Bec is my weekly Facebook live that I do every Saturday morning at 9am. It is full of card making ideas, tips and tricks to teach you short cuts in your crafting projects.
This morning on Breakfast with Bec I shared a few tips and tricks, on what I do when using some of Stampin’ Up!s fabulous products.
Using this fabulous suite I created two cards, the first one I created I showed how to stamp two different coloured images and punch them out at the same time using the one punch.
I also showed how you can create some patterned paper. I stamped some Bermuda Bay Ink on some Bermuda Bay Card Stock using the little sprinkle dot stamp out of the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp set and stamped along the card stock to create the background piece that sits behind the sentiment.
The second card I made was very similar to the first one however I used my favourite dies out of the annual catalogue called Stitched So Sweetly Dies to create the shape that I stamped the icecream on. The stamping was done using a masking technique. This is where I punched out the ice cream shape out of thin copy paper and placed this over the stamped image and then stamped again over the edge of the first image which is masked.
As you can see the two ice cream colours are on the top of each other but don’t blend into each other. This is the masking technique. I also did this when I stamped the cone over the ice cream. To see how this is done follow the link below to watch my video.
If you like any of the products that I have used during Breakfast with Bec I have listed them below, but don’t forget at the moment it is the best time to order what you need as it is Sale-A-Bration time and for every $90.00 that you spend (before shipping) on product you will receive a free product from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. But hurry it all ends on the 28th of February . Check it out below.
