Stampin’ Up have released their new January to June Mini Catalogue and it is beaming with lots of new products. One of these products is the You Are Amazing project kit. This kit is a semi-inclusive kit which means everything comes in semi-inclusive kits except stamps, ink, and adhesive. Check out the assortment of items that you get in this kit.
This kit makes 16 cards 4 each of 4 different designs with colours like Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Pretty Peacock and Basic White, this kit can be made for any occasion and for both male and female cards. When you pair it up with the matching Stamp set called You Are Amazing you will be all set to create beautiful cards.
Every time I purchase a kit, I like to challenge myself to see how many cards I can make out of the kit. For this kit I did exactly that, however I did add some extra Basic White card stock to make my kit go further. I started by making the four cards that are suggested in the kit, I made two each of these so eight cards in total.
With the rest of the kit and some extra Basic White card stock I started creating. By cutting up some of the card bases, I made new card fronts, by taking the edges of the die cuts and adding some Basic White card stock to the back I made new die cuts to stamp sentiments on, by using smaller dies on the middle of the die cuts I create extra pieces for embellishing the cards I created. It was so much fun just creating new cards from what seemed like left overs that would normally be thrown out as trash. Here is what I had left out of the kit that I created a total of 36 cards. There was not really much left just scraps, however I will probably use these on other cards down the track.
