As Christmas Day sneaks up on me as per usual I am swamped with work and don’t have enough Christmas cards made for all the people I want to send them to. So time to put the pedal to the metal and start.
So to start my onslaught of Christmas card making, I had a go at Bruno Bertucci Scrappy Strip technique. This technique is really good for using up all those scrap pieces of paper. I started with a black card stock back ground and simply added all the scraps adhering them with some multipurpose liquid glue, leaving a small gap in between each strip. If there were any long scraps hanging over the edge I simply trimmed these off after the glue has dried.
Over the top of this I used the Tis The Season Designer series paper backed onto a whisper white card stock rectangle and adhered this to the middle of the Scrappy Strip background.
Using the sticker Wishing You Wonder from the Wonder Of The Season Memories and More card pack, and the stamps and dies from the Peace and Joy Bundle I created the sentiment.
I mounted all of this onto some more Whisper white card stock and adhered it to a Cherry cobbler card base. I hope you like my Christmas card and stay tune as I will be sharing more with you over the next few weeks as we head closer to the silly season.
