Tis’ The Season Designer Series Paper is 48 sheets of patterned paper, 4 each of 12 double sided designs in 6” x 6” size with a wonderland of Christmas images in regal tones of, Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Garden Green and Shaded Spruce. Simplicity meets sophistication in this seasonal Paper while a subtle visual texture adds even more interest.

Today I made a card using the Tis’ The Season Designer Series Paper. I wanted to keep it a traditional Christmas card, you know the ones with reindeers and Christmas trees. So in conjunction with the Wishes & Wonder Bundle which has traditional Christmas images that include a sleigh, reindeer, and an array of Christmas sentiments, I think I have achieved this.

I started by using the paper with the reindeers and holly from the Tis’ The Season Designer Series Paper on a Garden Green card base.

Next I took some more of the Tis’ The Season Designer Series Paper and ran a strip down the right hand side of the card and die cut the tag from the North Pole Wonder dies. Adding a touch of gold by threading some gold thread through the tag and adding some foliage die cut from the North Pole Wonder dies from some Gold Foil sheets.

Stamping the sentiment from the Wishes & Wonder stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, backing that onto a die cut from the North Pole Wonder dies in Cherry Cobbler card stock and running it through the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

The reindeer is cut from the North Pole Wonder dies. To make it appear like an shiny embellishment I simply covered the Cherry Cobbler card stock with thick clear packing tape that you would by from the hardware or stationary department. Then I ran it through the die cutting machine and volia a nice shiny embellishment all cut ready to go.

Finally I stamped the reindeer from the Wishes & Wonder in Cherry Cobbler ink on the inside of the card and the envelope.
