September Mystery Card Challenge

Each month I send a card pack to each of my team members which we call a Mystery Card Pack. I know it’s not an original name, but it works. 😉 Within this pack there are many different products, card stock, designer series paper, ribbon, embellishments, and sometimes die cuts.

This month the card pack revolved around the colours of Stampin’ Up!s Get and Go starter promotion kit. For more details on this you can visit my post here Get and Go Starter Promotion . With Costal Cabana, Whisper White, Daffodil delight, and Bermuda bay card stock, Designer series paper and Whisper white metallic edge ribbon.

The team could use what ever current ink, stamp, die or punch they like. Here is what I came up with for this months challenge.

I used the Costal cabana card stock with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder for the card base. The card front is Whisper white card stock cut with the Ornate Layers dies.

Tip. I used the scalloped circle die from the Little Treat Box Dies on this Whisper White layer and cut out the centre of the die this gave me extra card stock to work with and seeing as how you won’t see it when I place my tag over the top of it it didn’t matter that there was a hole in it.

Next I cut out the Daffodil delight card stock using the little treat box die using the box part of the die set and only the tag portion of the die, and threaded the Whisper White metallic edge ribbon through the opening in the top.

Using the Little Treats stamp set I stamped the flowers in Bermuda Bay on the scalloped circle I cut from the card front previously. I also used the scalloped circle die to cut out the Designer Series Paper. The Thank you stamp is from the Love of Leaves stamp set and stamped In Bermuda Bay ink on the little tag from the Little Treat Box Die. The designer series paper is retired paper but I think if matches this card very well so I could not resist using it.

To match this lovely card I also had enough product to make two gift tags. I love making these out of scraps or left overs to make tags they come in handy when you need a quick card or even to use as a tag to attach to a gift.

I hope you like the cards I have made and if you would like more information on the products you can check them out below or go to my store here Bec’s House Of Craft Online Store

Happy Crafting
